The Everyday Shoulder

Everyday Solutions for Every Day Shoulders

‘Every day in my clinic is see shoulders that are all mixed up. Shoulders that are a mix of pathologies  -  part degenerative, part impingement, part torn, stiff, weak, mal-aligned and dysfunctional.  Attached to these shoulders are people looking for help, and grateful for any relief and restoration you can offer.’

This one day workshop is all about those shoulders.  Avoiding complex assessment and micro-management this is about simplifying the pathomechanics of  the shoulder that are slowing recovery and causing pain and doing something about it immediately.  Bringing relief from the first session.

Asst. Prof. Craig Allingham brings over 30 years of clinical and teaching experience plus his love of shoulders to help you help others. (aaahhh – isn’t that nice)

You will learn

  • new evaluation tests to identify pathomechanics and direct treatment
  • effective manual techniques for joint and soft tissues
  • how to identify subscapularis dysfunction and how to treat it
  • effective and user-friendly exercise rehab for a range of conditions – cuff tears and repairs, impingement, degenerative problems, tendinosis and capsulitis.

Presented by Asst. Prof. Craig Allingham, APA Sports and Olympic Physiotherapist.

Course includes workbook, refreshments and practical instruction.
