Craig Allingham
‘Sports, Olympic and Circus Physiotherapist’
Such is how Craig, one of Australia’s pre-eminent physical therapists,
describes himself, but this hardly tells the whole story.
Craig has been a clinician and teacher in physiotherapy for over thirty years. He has post graduate qualifications in Sports Science and Men’s Health. Craig has attended four Olympic Games as a Team Physiotherapist and has contributed as an educator in his field.
Currently his professional interests are Men’s Health, business skills for practitioners and university teaching (he is Assistant Professor at the School of Health Science and Exercise at Queensland’s Bond University. He is an entertaining professional speaker and in demand for conferences and training events.
Craig and his wife share six adult children and an acre of garden on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. He enjoys motorcycle touring, red wine, dark chocolate, jazz music, fine food and cheese. Despite this he is well. Apart from his arthritis.
